your phone recommendation..
currently with verizon, really just want an iphone minus the whole at&t ordeal, but you know.. so.. any recommendations for phones.. mostly looking at the blackberries..

It costs like an extra 15$ a month for a blackberry. I got a env2, id recommend it

I suggest going to AT&T. I really like them much better than verizon.
IMO nothing compares to the iPhone.

Buy an unlocked iPhone off eBay. I just bought one last night and and I think it's well worth it.

I'm not sure if they do but I think they're only compatible with GSM carriers. Verizon is a CDMA carrier?

Yeah VZW is CDMA. Buying unlocked will never show the full potential of the phone though, you will have glitches and crashes.

Its near impossible / not worth it. It would never work right. Switch to at&t and have them port your number. That's what I did.
