If the battery was the best battery in the world I'd still doubt you'd buy it for $200.

I'm sure there's countless people younger than you that are smarter than you.
Don't make assumptions based on age. Thanks.

Hey, kids, lets not make a mess of this here portfolio comments topic. If you don't like what he charges, don't hire him. You could even perhaps ask for a deal, if you really liked the work but the cost was an issue.
BrokenFaith, you made your point and we heard it. Kindly leave it at that.

I never said anything about his rates. If anything his rates are too low. I'm saying that he won't get clients unless he shows some work, that isn't of his own website.
Constructive critisism that is.

And I've rejected a few potential projects. $70 plus shopping cart and credit card payment gateway is extremely ridiculous. You want to take that kind of project?

Completely agree. If you want new work, you could always design something and sell it here or pitch it to potential clients. Once you have around 5 good works in your portfolio you should be in the green. Once you have around 10 projects under your belt, only showcase the top 6 or so.
Clients judge by the worst, not by the best.
Good luck.

I don't know. Maybe I'm the only one but I just don't like the pixelated text. The rest of the layout looks good except for that.
It's just personal preference though.
