Not at all, I am not against either. But I have to choose one at this point because I feel like the other 5 finalists that I chose did a better job and/or have the potential to do even better.

I doubt it really matter then. The other designers are more likely to produce something anyway. A bit of a lotto between those other two who is better.

Personally, I'd go with Audy. While ings submitted designs are undoubtedly more varied - I don't see you choosing any of them as the winner.
While there are already better concepts than Audy's - I think his attention to detail wins it for him - he has the potential to create something you might actually use (already a couple of members have selected his as their favourite!)
As mikka23 pointed out - it's probably not going to matter in the end, but you may as well give the guy with the most potential the chance.

Ing. Emphasize the wording rather than a symbol.

I agree - but its not like his wording has been anything special so far. From what I've seen, a lot of members here could do a much better job than the majority of his submissions!

I am on the side of thought that typography can be changed at any time (even by us), but the graphical symbol can't.
If anyone here gets any ideas for a fitting font, please pots. I personally like our designer's choice of Maven Pro. But I am sure there are many amazing types that can fit equally well.
