Tags plugin for wordpress?
Hey,
Does anyone know of any simple tag plugins for wordpress? I had a look around, but all I can find are cloud tags, which isn't what I need.
I just want to be able to assign certain keywoards to a post, and be able to browse posts containing a particular keywoard. Something like categories actually, but I need the categories for something else
Thanks!

HI,
You can find tag directory list wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-tags/
This will defiantly help to get the best wp plugin to get that and work on different parts .There are traffic which comes directly on tags and can give the most conversion rates to the websites you are working.

Why would you want to add a plugin to do what it is already added in WordPress? Is the tagging feature already included not sufficient for what you want to do?
When you create the post, add the tag to it. To browse it (via frontend) you would just use domain.com/tag/tag-name /tag/ being default if you do not change the tag permalink.

The reason why you may be confused is that some themes are setup not to show certain functions of WordPress by default. While some themes require code tweaking to show tags, which is not always easy for a newbie to take care of, don't worry because in most themes you can choose to display tag widget through WP control panel. Than again if you don't want to use tag cloud and you want tags to display just bellow the post you will have to add a specific function in the code. Just go to WordPress site and browse there to find the answer, which I'm sure you will for such easy question.
