I could never call it a waste of time personally, when I smoke I do it because it's like time stops for a while and I have a clear mind to think about all sorts of things that I'm normally too stressed for.

From my personal experience it's not a waste of time, it's the exact opposite.
It's different for every user though. I myself have some form of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and when I smoke it calms down the chaos in my head and lets me focus on something I want to focus on. Therefore it's, in a way, providing me with more 'calm-time'.

That might have sounded really weird, but yeah.

Secondly, this thread has gone well off topic from what he wanted to achieve from it! I don't even understand why everyone is even throwing their personal opinions into the equation? I'm pretty sure we wasn't asked what our personal opinions about smoking weed were?

Pffft, why hasn't this thread been cleaned up?

You're kidding right? I mean - on a discussion board... Isn't that what people do: DISCUSS? Wow - What audacity

Anyway - I find it interesting to see peoples' opinions on the topic "Who here smokes weed?" -- What did you expect? 20 something pages with each post containing a one word response "yes." "no." -- How boring is THAT.

You can't OD on weed as far as I know. It cán be lethal when combined with lots of alcohol though.
