  Old  using the firefox logo

Hiya, my client wants a firefox logo with 'works best with firefox' copy next to it.

It's for IBM so they are very strict on legal shit etc. legally can i use this logo on the design?

Also let them know it's not a 'done thing' anymore, and that if their website doesn't work in all browsers this day in age, they've got big problems.

IBM are a client of a company who I design for. If my design sparked a legal fight then IBM would pass it down to my company (obviously). On behalf of the company I work for I wouldn't want to get it wrong.

I found some downloadable icons from mozilla, http://bigblueplanner.com/users/login <- thats the design its on.

Talk to the company. Explain that you're not doing it without legal assurances against a) you being held accountable and ideally b) there being no legal issues.

Better to ask you project manager or whoever is responsible for this project, then they would contact whoever they needs to...

Remember, that project managers may not know how to fix something, but do know who can...
