Web 3.0 is just the bug fix for 2.0 essentially eliminating the <b> tag in favor of <strong>.

i still hit people when they ask if i can make something "web2".
the versioning is the stupidest mentality ever. things evolve at a continuous rate. there's no level of separation because there's aren't static states to compare against. it's a buzzword and it's annoying.
if i ever get asked to make something web3 i'm going to up the ante and start cutting throats.
edit: i think someone developed some kind of new technology in the time i spent writing my complaint. i guess the web has upgraded to 2.948563363?
