  Old  KOY Design, My design site, need some critique

Hi, I would like some very realistic critique on the design of my site and it's portfolio(too small, redundant, good/bad design) as I am trying to perfect it as much as possible:

Koy-Design.com

There is also a custom client project system which I'd like critiqued:

http://koy.seriesoverride.com//Genix.html

thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.

Norhing wrong with flash sites, except from the seo isnt feasable. Ever seen the FWA? Majority of flash sites are 100 times better graphically then a html site.

As a note for this site though, you need up your anti with flash and learn some better effects and things.

@ BetaOrange

What would you say is wrong and/or needs to be improved or changed with the flash of the site? Also, why is the music a bad idea? Is it the type of music or just having music in general?

@enigma

I do have an html version for SEO purposes but SEO wasn't my highest priority in the first place so a flash site was better for me. What type of effects would you suggest? I really want to emphasize simplicity in the site but I'm open to try some more flashy things.

Thanks for the input all.

Do not mind. But is taking too long time to load. You should do something to fix this issue otherwise visitors will become impatient. And one more thing Google has improved its algo and therefore it will not be an issue.

@playpharma

really? what is your internet speed? The whole file is under 700kb and should have downloaded fairly quickly on most connections, how long did it take for you?

One thing I will say about the site is that anybody who needs glasses would have huge trouble in reading 90% of information, the text is too small, too low opacity and you'd have a hard time resizing it through the browser as it's flash.

To test this, just blur your eyes a bit whilst looking at the screen, you'd be interested how little information is readable.

@Adam Sheridan

Yeah, some people have reported that it's difficult to read on their displays, I am considering re-sizing it but the problem is the text looks horrible with any other font size, any suggestions on how to make it look better?

Man I hate music on flash sites...

That's one of the main reasons why i hate flash designs..

Also, the sidelinks are quite hard to read unless you hover over.. (They blend into the background too much"
