I'm trying to work out a budget for a start-up of mine that I'm thinking about, and I'm stuck when it comes to graphic design.
What I will need designing initially is a high quality logo, I'm not looking to cut corners, because I'm planning to retain the business myself for about five years, and would hope it would last that duration before the business is passed on. What should I look at budgeting for this?
How do I determine what other elements of corporate design I will need, such as letterheads, business cards, and is there a large additional cost to this? N.B. It is a service orientated busienss that I would be starting and would operate largely over the web.
What you're looking for is a corporate identity package. Standard Web based logos can go from anywhere from $30 upwards.
I can't speak for the others, but with me a Corproate identity package starts from $160 which includes a customised vector logo (high resolution - can be used for prints) - A business card design (CMYK based) - A letterhead and an Envelope.
Depending upon the company you can be charged anywhere from $150 to $800.
The average price for a Logo is 150$. But obviously it ranges from people.
Some tend to do it extremly cheap to get portfolio pieces some do it for high. It really all depends. It's such a hard market to give precise estimate IMO.
Not being horrible but you get what you pay for. People who charge $25 for a logo will give you something unprofessional and generally these people have very little experience.
Cost of Logo Design belongs to the Level of Designer, if you meet a bad guy, he only charges you about $10-20 or less, but if you want a pro design, about $100 or more is good choice, however, sometimes the price does not mean anything
