Bridge Collapse
I dont know if anyone heard about this. But i live maybe 15 minutes away from where this happened. And have crossed the bridge several times. One of my friends' dad had crossed the bridge 2 hours earlier. Anyway, for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, the I35 W bridge in Minneapolis, where it crosses the Mississippi collapsed for unknown reasons. Right now I think they said something like 7 dead, and a bunch hurt. It's probably gonna go up, seeing as how they've turned it into a recovery operation, rather than a rescue.
Here's a video of the bridge falling.

Yeah this is really bad, i expect most people here know about this, its international news.
They estimate 30 dead now because of how long they have been down there ;(

I used to live near it too! (Okay, 2 hours away...) My Aunt drove on it the day before it happened, and I believe I've drove over it several times too. It's just strange that they don't have an explanation for it because everything was fine with it the previous years, and the construction didn't likely play a role in it happening.

it only takes one rivet to go, and there was evidence beforehand to suggest the structure was unstable. it scored a 4 out of 9 on structural intergrity
