Hey Sulcalibur, I'm in the same boat as you. I really want to learn because I want to learn almost all coding languages. Maybe we could help each other out.

Ok, this is what i'm using to learn XHTML/CSS. These two books are fantastic, and along with online resources previously mentioend by others, are a great learning resource.

CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Standards Solutions by Andy Budd
Head First HTML : With XHTML & CSS.

I'm loving these books

Isn't CSS Mastery a book for advanced CSS coders?

Also, how much are those 2 books?

CSS Mastery, is for use after the Head First HTML book -- it is "aimed at anybody with a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. If you have just recently dipped your toes into the world of CSS design, or if you've been developing pure CSS sites for years, there will be something in this book for you....". CSS Mastery is $30 retail, and Head first XHTML is around $20 (on Amazon) I suggest the Head first book first, since it gives a great learning experience for the novice reader.
