LF new laptop
Hey, as i need a laptop for school , i want a new one , that is better
I also want to be able to play the latest games, i don't expect to play them on high , but at least minimum - medium performances.
Currently i have http://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-F3S.6467.0.html
I bought it around 1000€ i think , i am looking for the same around that price (not under 1000€ , but can go up) . Don't tell me macs , cauze they are too pricy .

I'd go with a dell. I'm not sure how much that'd be in Euros though.

In my opinion, laptops that have monitors larger than 13.3" are NOT mobile and are thus useless.
My brother has a 15" MacBook Pro and it is TOO big to be a laptop.
Honestly, stay away from apple laptops, they are too pricy and you get outdated parts because they only get upgraded once or twice (if you're lucky) a year.

A 15" Macbook Pro isn't to big... I carry mine with me to uni, have it on my back for hours at a time every day and I don't have any issues with it. I can't imagine having anything smaller than 15". In fact I find myself needing more screen space to get my work done; a high res 17" MBP would be perfect

Or you can just settle for a monitor and get a nice smaller laptop so it can actually be portable. You see, to me a 17" is like a mobile desktop, because I bike everywhere and everytime (I live in the city) so having a 7lb laptop just doesn't cut it here.
It's all preference :P

Actually Garrett I do, and a macbook is just fine. Like I said, anything 13.3" and below is considered "portable" to me.
The MacBook Pro is considered a "mobile desktop" and while it is nice and fast, it cost waaaay too much money. For the same price I'd pick up that carbon-fiber Vaio with double the memory and better overall specs at 2,000
