New startup
www.ebackers.com is my new startup, a place for web professionals, online businesses and people who love the web to post requests to get things done.
I'm looking to bring together the best of the web, because I feel so many people work on the web and there are so many online businesses that need a better way to connect and get things done.
So what do you think? Design, concept, approach, etc

The url is great and looks professional, I could imagine a big company behind this.
Does it already work? Are the e-mails autogenerated?
How are you going to protect your visitors from scam?
Best of luck with your project
Michael

Thanks for the kind words . Yes it works. The emails are anonymized when a user enters their contact email (this is to prevent spam). I also moderate every post made. I accept or reject them, so I am able to tell spam from the real ones.

The design is nice, apart from the background. Looking at it on a 30" or 24" monitor, i can feel my eyes bleeding at the yellow. Perhaps tone it down a bit?

I personally found the background color a little disconcerting. How about a dark grey? or something along those lines. I've always liked darker colors!

Hey Marco,
wouldn't it make sense if you added a point system once the site gets bigger? That would motivate people to help others with smaller things.
I'm sure you'll find companies that will exchange some points for their services (like hosting companies).
