  Old  Dungeons and Dragons

I can't believe that I've gone my entire life without ever playing Dungeons and Dragons. I just got back from playing a game with some friends, that was some of the most fun I've had in years. We all liked it so much agreed to meet again on Wednesday. Any other D&D players here?

I really enjoyed it, it is like playing an RPG where anything can be done. I don't really care for video game RPGs becuase they are fairly limited in scope (even games like fallout 3). Dungeons and Dragons overcomes these issues because there is a person (the dungeon master) controlling everything. For instance, at one point we took a set of armor from a guard we put to sleep via a spell, we later found a human to wear it and pose as a guard to get us past a checkpoint. That was not really part of the storyline, but the dungeon master rolled with it and continued the scenario.

Everyone in the group really liked it, but I guess it's not for everyone. If you've never done it, give it a go and see if you like it.

^cheers to Quebec!

I am not a huge fan of mystical kind of games myself. Actually, haven't really ever been a big gamer. The three games that I was fascinated with (still am in a way) are: Red Alert - all of them (the C&C series), Microsoft Flight Simulator (I did suck at it though) and Euro Truck Simulator (I know, something must be wrong with me).

I wish I had more time to experience this when I was younger. Definitely the Microsoft Train Simulator would have been fun...
