Online storage
Hello everyone! I love taking pictures and with the advent of the digital age, the more pictures I now take! So, other than flickr, what other site is there where I can store my pictures for safe-keeping?

Currently I only trust Flick'r they are always there. They do not go off to another location where I cant see them any more because they are archived. And many archival services tend to erase things if you change a folder structure etc. etc. too risky.
I have looked into getting space on Amazon S3 but its pricy. Look for FileServers versus backup solutions/ archival etc.

I've had a good experience with both Flickr and picasa and they both do the job well. However, I personally prefer Flickr's organization and structure. But all i can say is they both offer a reliable storage for your photos.
Actually Flickr just updated their design and now it's more quick and efficient.

Picasa is not bad but as Gatt said Flickr has a much better user experience and design.

James, do you find the 100mb upload bandwidth limit with Flickr sufficient for your needs or do you have to constantly watch the restriction?

I've got around 230 images on my flickr and I have the same restriction, so far I've been alright but maybe in the near future it'll become a problem.

I use both Flickr and Picasa.
Personally, I like Picasa more for its neat organization, fast upload speed. It is also easy to use. However, it is not a good choice for low-configuration computers because it make its speed slower. It annoyed me when I used my old computer.

DanceFever,
I'd try out Box.com. I've been using them to store eBooks for my website and they have a ton of awesome features that make storing and sharing your content a breeze.
They obviously have paid options, but you can get a ton of storage with the free version and then just update it later if you ever run out of space. I give them two thumbs up because they've made storing and sharing files really easy for me and that's helped my business out a lot.
