another thing - is it not ridiculous that there is no phone number on http://www.thiswebhost.com/contact.php ?

How can I get in touch with them in a situation like this. I've never been put in a situation like this - hence not checking that out before hand!

I am sorry that the service was not satisfactory, and do hope that your problems are resolved in a timely manner.

P.S. It does seem strange not having a telephone number, is there not something hidden away for only clients to see?

nope - as a client, I can only submit support tickets or email them - there is no mention of a number, anywhere!

Cheers Salathe!

you are right to be mad, mate... but don't you think you could have been a bit more explicit on your reply to the ticket...?

I think you're well within your rights to make a claim for loss of earnings.

It seems like the first thing that people think of is to sue.... Here are the issues with that.

1. No part of the contract has been broken.
2. Projecting the losses is almost impossible and likely would not hold in any court.
3. Even if you got projections, a lawyer costs thousands.
4. This* is based in New York, USA. Textz is in the UK, international litigation takes years and is extremely costly.

There is no way in hell this would make it to court.

I don't think Gary meant legally - its a thing us British people say when you feel someones been hard done by.

I've been compensated, so I'm happy

Cheers guys. Just got a reply to the ticket, the guy apologised and said he is looking into it. As long as I don't lose any SEO rankings because of it, i'm fine with it!

Juan, yes, you are correct, I probably should of explained the situation a bit better, however, what I'm trying to say, is it wasn't hard to understand if he just took a proper look at my account.

Anyway, he said hes on it now, so hopefully I'll be able to get my sites back up tonight
