Favorite books?
So I've started getting back into reading and I would like to pick up some good books. What are your favorite books? Here are mine
A Clockwork Orange
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Brave New World
A Scanner Darkly
Requiem for a Dream
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

What's so funny? Is it that you think the story is for children? I for one think Lewis Carroll did an amazing job writing it and I love works that are surreal in nature.

I haven't read a fiction book in about 4 years, the last one I read was called Prey by Michael Crichton. It was a fairly good read.
Now non-fiction (mostly technical books) I read quite often. My current is Linux Kernel Development by Rovert Love. It is quite interesting seeing how an OS works under the hood.

Great list. What about Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Treasure Island? All great books as well

My favorite book is the Bible. It talks about family, how to have a strong and lasting relationship with other people, how to attain true happiness, about science, how to be successful, etc. Name any topic and its almost there. I love reading it!
