Highlights 2011, goals 2012
See last years thread.
Now that the holiday season is over we are looking at the end of yet another year. How did this one go for you and what are you planning for the next year?
This year was not too eventful for me, I continued with college and my business. I only have one year left until I graduate . I didn't end up getting the security certs, just didn't have enough time; I'm not sure if I'm going to end up in security for other reasons anyways.
Next year will either be really eventful or not at all. I'm going to be continuing with school and my business just as I did this year. If that is the case I'll be just a month or two from graduating this time next year. I applied for a summer internship with SpaceX programming aeronautics control software. If I get that I'll be moving to LA for the summer so that will make the year quite eventful. if that happens I'll likely miss some school and be set to graduate sometime next summer, the experience would be worth the delay.
So what about you?

I kid you not I was prepping to start a similar thread.
I set myself 3 goals last year:
1. Become more social in the offline world.
2. Read books for at least 30 minutes each day (it could be 60).
3. Become more productive with work.
Suceeded at #1, failed miserably on #2 and did little progress on #3.
Next year setting to up my game on goal #2 and #3, except that perhaps look to expand the business side of things.
There are also a few things that I want to learn more about next year, namely the producing side of music/film business.

Happy New Year!
Let's share our plans for New Year. I wanna do in 2012:
1) Graduate from school with only good marks;
2) Start my own business (I've got an idea);
3) Read about 30-50 books;
4) Fly to London (I recently started learning language and wanna visit country).
Good luck for everybody!

Pretty dull 2011 for me. Started back at uni after a year off and made a bit more money off Themeforest than the previous year but pretty much a 2010 repeat.
For 2012 I want to:
- Launch screencasts site
- Become a bit more involved at university, back to full time in the 2nd half of the year
- Back to bulking at the gym
- Join university basketball team again
- Fully learn some slap bass songs, always tend to stop after getting the main parts
- Fix my aquarium properly
Most of these things I previously started then stopped doing.

@mikka23 - looks like you missed 2011
For 2012, my goals are to lose weight (and do it) and to get back to my martial arts roots.

Haha, nice catch. Goes to show how dull the last few years have been. Can't even remember what year it is.

My goals for 2012 are probably on these lines. Not really thought it over properly
1. Get into the Web Flipping industry and make my first $ in that niche
2. Create a niche website and earn part time ad sense revenue from it
3. Continue to study at university
