The new twitter
What do you all think of the new Twitter? I just started using it two days ago and I have to say it's good but takes some time to get use to. You probably all use clients but I still use twitter via the website.
Thoughts on the design and functionality of it all? At least the servers are looking better!

They are rolling it out to users slowly over the next week or so. I haven't got it yet, but can't wait until i do!

I clicked the button so I can see the new version but honestly I prefer the old method. The new one is wider and to be honest just takes up more of the screen and doesn't really add any extra value to the page.
I get a LITTLE extra width on the actual tweet, but I would have much preferred that they extended that area to the 140 character limit so I could read it all on one line. To me, that would have been better.

I've not got the upgrade yet either, not too bothered as I use TweetDeck anyway.

I personally like the new layout better. I mean, I enjoy the fact that they are trying to give there site a much more modern feel to it. It's not a HUGE change, but it's good enough to make me want to use it again.
