I hand-code in Dreamweaver. If you're using the WYSIWYG editor, STOP!

I use the WYSIWYG editor for the handy eye dropper tool. It's the only way to be sure that #8ED5FF is the right shade of blue!

Exactly!
Dreamweaver is a tool, much like a wrench to a plumber. If you don't know how to work on plumbing having all the wrenches in the world isn't going to help you do the job right.

I suppose hand coding is better as you actually know what you are doing. I first learnt HTML through Microsoft Frontpage, but i regret it now. It seems to make the learning process harder.
So yeah .... probably handcoding is better.

I hand-code,
not fussy about which editor I use; notepad, bluefish, crimson editor, php editor, html kit, jedit, Dreamweaver 8, whatever - I've tried using WYSIWYG editors a few times and found them to be uncooperative.
